So I wanted to challenge myself with a night time lighting in Unreal Engine 5.
The idea behind this was to have a rainy night scene and light the scene up and make it look classy yet dark.
The Cadillac in the scene was placed to give a classy tone to the shot. I decided to render one of the scenes in a wider format than the typical 1080p one because the Cadillac was of good length and it looked cool to increase the output resolution to make the shot look stretched.
The scene is supposed to give a dark yet positive vibe, think of it as a successful mob hit or something. It's a dark tone yet people support the cause. So the lighting I chose was to have bright yellow street lights, red and blue light and white to blend with the environment.
